This immersive Midwifery Skills & Renewal Retreat is designed for birthworkers seeking to expand their clinical expertise while finding restoration in nature. Hosted at a serene 48-acre retreat property in Newport, PA, this experience provides hands-on training, community-building, and holistic rejuvenation for midwives and birth assistants.
Participants will gain practical, hands-on experience in essential midwifery skills such as IV placement, vaginal exams, blood draws, anti-hemorrhage techniques, and perineal suturing—while also enjoying opportunities to reconnect with their purpose, deepen their knowledge, and foster sisterhood.

A guided journaling session amidst the tranquil surroundings, allowing participants to reflect on their journey as birthworkers while sipping a glass of wine or herbal tea.
August 27th (7:00 PM): Midwives Fireside Chat
A relaxed evening gathering where we share birth stories, wisdom, and lessons learned in a sacred space of community and connection.
Juniata River Activities – The retreat property is near Juniata River, offering opportunities for fishing, boating, tubing, and birdwatching. Guests can explore the river at their leisure, enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
